Wire Helix, better known as a "slinky." Flat sectioned steel wire in a helical coil. This helix measures 165mm closed length with a diameter of 75mm. (@ 6.5" X 3") Fully extended, the coil stretches more than 30 feet. Useful for demonstrating basic concepts for both Longitudinal and Transverse waves.
