The Finns have expanded both as a family. The kids have real friends and blossoming love interests. They are living the ideal life with people who care about them and who in turn are cared about by them.

It's not all fun though. John has to learn just who his real supporters are and how you may not be related by blood but you are family regardless. An old adversary needs help and Jaimie shows her true side as she works to get help to someone who tormented her for years. Two years of festering wounds come to a head as Jaimie and the kids show just who they really are to the world and from that a new life is started for many people. It's a new beginning for several people.
