Dericam S1-N is a non-preinstalled SD card version of S1. It supports motion detection events recording over 45 days by installing a 16GB card (supports up to 128GB). Local SD card recording method is very convenient, cost-effective and safe. It is totally free of charge compared to the method of cloud recording which charges high monthly fee. You can also setup a FTP web server to store the alarm snapshots and recordings as a free secure private cloud server instead of paying very expensive monthly subscription fee to the manufacturer's cloud servers which are of high risk to be hacked, disclosed, and broadcasted
