Mostly fabulous, when Marilyn married Joe DiMaggio, Brylcreem styled your hair, Buck Rogers & the Lone Ranger saved the day, and we were entertained by Ozzie & Harriet, Mad Magazine, Howdy Doody, and the one & only Elvis. We could read On the Road or East of Eden while eating a TV Dinner washed down with Ovaltine or maybe a Schlitz, followed by a workout in a Hula Hoop. Then there was the not-so-fabulous embodied by segregation, the "Red Iceberg", the atomic bomb, and McCarthyism.
