2) a large magnesium scraper with a fire striker edge,

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) HeloFire can be used to start fires in a few seconds by simply scraping a small amount of magnesium from the rod onto your firewood using the saw-like side of the scraper.

2) For best results, first, start by stripping the protective layer of paint from the rod before starting your fire. The amount of magnesium needed is approximately the size of a US coin.

3) Now, hold the rod at an angle over the pile of magnesium and press and slide down along the length of the rod with the smooth side of the scraper until sparks fall directly on the magnesium shavings to ignite a well-lit fire.
