Lifelong tomboy Jamie McCloud works in street clothes for the NYPD, hanging around downtown Manhattan's tourist areas watching for pickpockets, gropers and thieves. Her notoriety rises when she gets involved in another shooting, at the same time as she wants to be as discrete as possible about her private life.
