1. Since this hub is without external power supply port, the load capacity depends on the output power of USB C port on your laptop.
1) For connecting MACBOOK PRO 2016, the maximum output is 10W (5V/2A), you can access: a 2.5" hard drive, U disk, keyboard, mouse, etc.
2) For connecting other laptop with USB C port, the maximum output is 5W (5V/1A), you can just access some less power consumption devices like keyboard, mouse, U disk,etc.
