No eye-protection is needed. Our blasters have been tested by a 3rd party product safety facility and determined to emit safe, infrared (non-visible) lights at less than a 1mW power output. It is similar to the lights used in a garage opener or TV remote. They do not exceed Class 1 Laser Product Limits and are in conformance with Code of Federal Regulations 21 CFR 1040.10.
