Prisoners who choose to enter the Life Sentence Diversion and Rehabilitation Program are broken to accept even the strictest and most painful of bondage without struggle or complaint. Prisoner Neal Landon doesn't take it well, and his hidden temper flashes dangerously to the surface when he lashes out at his handler after being chained with handcuffs and leg irons in a brutal hogtie for more than 24 hours.

It proves to be the biggest mistake of his life. When he's placed in ankle stocks and tied with rough ropes into a merciless stress position that stretches his hamstrings and nearly dislocates his shoulders as he screams into the cruelly tight rope gag punishing his mouth, he learns that it isn't restraint until he wants out... and he's not getting out of this punishment.

But it's the week in weighted iron fetters that breaks him to submission. With his legs spread apart and held straight by sadistically designed spreader bars, and his wrists locked in heavy manacles, every minute in his comfortless solitary jail cell is misery. He cries in pain when he's made to walk chained every day, his wrists and ankles bruised and bleeding from shackle sores, and endures the agony of having his wounds "treated" every day with a mix of alcohol, vinegar, and salt.

When he finally breaks, will his remorseless handler forgive his appalling behavior and offer him some relief?
