This round base rare-earth neodymium (NdFeB) cup magnet is made with A3 steel plate and coated with Nickel-Copper-Nickel to be the strongest type of permanent magnet available.

Included with every Brute Magnetics Fishing Magnet is a free 6 ml bottle of THREADLOCKER and lock washer. To prevent the eyebolt from backing out (and possibly losing your magnet) it is important to use threadlocker properly. Simply apply 2-3 drops on threads and screw into eyelet. To assure lasting attachment, CURE FOR 24 HOURS, and then you're ready to go!

HOW THE PULLING FORCE IS TESTED: At Brute Magnetics, samples from every production run are tested to insure that pull strength meets or exceeds our stated values. Forces are determined at room temperature attached to a ½ inch thick plate of (A36) polished steel. The pull force is applied perpendicular to the face of the plate to test its breakaway strength. Depending on the object to which the magnet attaches (thickness, condition, rusted or oddly shaped items) which do not allow for a firm bond, strength may be reduced.
