Animals usually has thick skin and hair, which may reduce the accuracy of temperature checking more or less. In order to obtain the accurate temperature reading, the measurement spot is critical. For dogs and cats, we suggest obtain their body temperature from their inner thigh. For cattle, goats, and horses, we suggest obtain their body temperature from their inner thigh or cavum. For Pigs, we suggest obtain their body temperature from their inner ears, anus or stomach. For poultry, we suggest obtain their body temperature from their cavum or underwing.
