From the artist, Kathryn Marlin: Drawing is my passion and ink is my favorite medium. I have been an artist all of my life. I was born in Fairbanks, Alaska but, before settling down in Iowa, I lived many places because my father was in the Air Force. Drawing and doodling, whether on art paper or the margins of my schoolwork, have always been a part of my life. A few years ago I realized my lifelong desire of becoming a fulltime artist in a busy publishing company. My husband and two grown children are my cheerleaders, always encouraging and supporting me in whatever I do. My artwork has appeared in books, magazines, posters, and puzzles. I also take time to work on commissioned pieces! My experience and passion has culminated in these pages. I hope they not only relax you but bring back a great sense of fun!
