The Lion King, a classic Disney favorite was re-released on DVD in 2011. Although this DVD is rated G this film should be shown with caution to very young children due to some violence. The Lion King is a story of a young cub named Simba who thinks he is bigger and stronger then he actually is and is ready to be king of the pride land. It isn't until his father passes away that he realizes the responsibility associated to the role. Simba undertakes a villain and shows his bravery as a full-grown lion. With a running time of 89 minutes, The Lion King is sure to captivate its audience throughout. This DVD features the full original film and voices of its original debut but with enhanced visuals. The Lion King is a cherished Disney film that children of all ages can sing to and remember for years to come, and it is a must-have in a DVD library.
