Approximately 400 feet of softly twisted, single-twist, 100% unbleached, raw natural cotton string, perfect for macrame, knitting and crochet. Fringes beautifully when combed out and is great for large projects with the larger size diameter. When tightly spooled, string appears to be about 7 mm. After given a chance to breath and unwind just a tad while in use, it expands to about 8 mm. Size can also vary slightly based on humidity. Color is ecru - not pure white. Made in USA
