If you need one to be male, you simply must strip the end caps off of those wires (original fan wire, and receiver wire) to expose the bare wire and wire nut them together. IF you need the kit. You must purchase this receiver (UC7051R Replacement Ceiling Fan Receiver for Hampton Bay) and the Anderic RR7078TR remote.
