We know there are already a number of standing desktop converters out there. If any of them had totally nailed it, we wouldn't have built our own. After thoughtful research and rigorous testing, to create the best standing desk converter on the market, we focused on four major areas: stability, usable work surface area, ease of use, and sustainability.

For stability, we threw out incremental height adjustment and front-to-back motion in favor of a robust double X-frame that adjusts smoothly straight up and down (not towards and away from you), and evenly distributes the weight of your work surface at every height. A continuous range of motion glides through nearly 16" of height adjustment, stopping anywhere you like along the way.

Since most people need to fit more than a monitor and keyboard on their work surface, we designed Cooper to have the most usable surface area possible (732 square inches), while still offering a built-in keyboard platform below the main work surface (another 341 square inches).

We solved for ease of use, by successfully implementing one-hand operation that is assisted by a hydraulic lift. Built-in tension adjustment means Cooper can handle a variety of weights (up to 35 lbs) while maintaining smooth and easy adjustment.

Lastly, we incorporated our signature bamboo tops, one of the most environmentally conscious options available. As an added benefit, it looks great, making Cooper a handsome addition to any existing fixed height tabletop.
