Includes side finger grips to aid in fast and accurate reloading. Made of hard anodized aluminum, it will add increased durability to your magazine, replacing the original polymer base plate. Easy to install (well kinda), with minimal tools required. To remove the OEM baseplate, press the button at the bottom of the magazine with a screwdriver, punch or a Glock magazine disassembly tool (MDT) and keep it pressed down. Squeeze the magazine at the base using your hands, a pair of pliers or a vice and slide the baseplate towards the front of the magazine body past the tabs, thus removing it. Make sure to keep pressure on the baseplate insert so that the internal spring beneath does not fly out. Finally, place the baseplate insert back in over the spring, keeping downward pressure on it as you slide on your new baseplate until it snaps in place. Install Time: 10-15 minutes depending on patience and skill level.
