It is the Victorian Age, the British Empire stretches around the world including parts of Africa. Lady Elizabeth Curtis has some to the Dark Continent to find her lost husband. Dr. Percy Wiggins, who is secretly in love with the beautiful lady has accompanied her. He hopes to offer a comforting shoulder when Elizabeth realizes her husband is dead. The hunter guiding them has the same plan. In an effort to get Percy out the way he pushes into a well among some ruins. Not only does Percy survive but finds a ring that will give him the power to have Elizabeth as his own.
