This natural butter is coldpressed from the leaf of aloe plant. This butter makes it an ideal base for hair conditioners and suntan lotions. Aloe Vera Butter contains protein, minerals, natural tocopherol, high content of eicosenoic acid, and long chain monounsaturated fatty acids, as well as a waxy substance similar to collagen. Hypo-allergenic and pure, Aloe Vera Butter is perfect for any skin type. Common uses of Aloe Vera Butter: Creams, Lotions, Soaps, Pomades, After-Sun Creams and Lotions, Sun Protection Products, Hair Conditioners. Benefits of Aloe Vera Butter: reduces wrinkles and stretch marks, helps lighten and heal scars, acts as a humectant by creating a protective film over skin and hair shaft that seals in moisture, dissolves clogged pores and returns skin to natural pH balance, penetrates pores and hair follicles rapidly to reduce water loss, feels non-greasy Aids spread ability and lubricity, effective conditioner, moisturizer, and softener for skin and hair. Recommended Usage: Lotions & Creams: 5 - 20 %, Balms: 5 - 100 %, Bar Soaps: 5 - 20 %, Hair Conditioners: 2 - 5 %. NOTE: Because of the nature of the extraction process, color and consistency of this butter may vary from batch to batch. Rest assured - this is an all natural product. As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab-scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing. Recommended Storage: Please note that this butter should ideally be stored in a refrigerator to maintain its texture. It will become soft in warmer temperatures. Shelf Life: Store in cool temperatures (below 25 °C) away from light and moisture in an air-tight container. The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g., 36 °C), but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality.
