Loctite 263 High Strength Threadlocker is a Versatile, high strength liquid threadlocker. Reliably locks and seals metal fasteners up to 1 in. Engineered to cure consistently on a variety of metals, despite minor surface ontaminants. Works on steel, stainless steel and most plated fasteners. Tolerates thread lubrication, corrosion protection anti-luids. Rated for 360°F (180°C). Heat required for removal.

Loctite Threadlocker Properties:

Gap filling
Loctite threadlockers completely fill all voids between the interfacing threads, which makes the assembly an unitized component, prevents any movement between threads, and ultimately prevents loosening.

Thread Sealing
This property of Loctite Threadlocker is especially important when assembling through-bolts in an oil reservoir or cooling jacket in order to keep the fluids sealed in and corrosion out. Examples of this application are common but not limited, to gearboxes and internal combustion engines.
