A Wayward Pines Prequel: Before Group B, Chaos Erupts 2000 years in the future

In the town of Wayward Pines, Group A has failed. Many of the residents cannot handle the knowledge of their new post-apocalyptic world.

Suicides lead to riots, questions, and death within the town. Michelle and two brave men of the town escape with the help of Nurse Pam, and they seek refuge in the ruins of the dead city lying miles outside of Wayward Pines. Here they meet Dr. Lanning, a scientist running a special project to domesticate the abbies, to learn from them and to teach them. He is helped by one female abby who has already learned sign language.

However, things are not as they seem, and the help they received from Nurse Pam is soon called into question.

Now the three escapees are running from David Pilcher, while trying to figure out the truth about Dr. Lanning and his abbies. The clock is ticking, because Pilcher wants all loose ends tied up before Group B is awakened.
