Be warned, a dimmer that is specifically for led mains dimming a.k.a. Triac dimmer or SCR dimmer is required in order to make the dimmable bulb work properly. Otherwise, the bulb will be flickering

This lamp IS NOT suitable for use in the totally enclosed fixture.

The actual size of this bulb is 2.2 inches in width, 1.5 inches in height and 4.7 inches in length. Probably, it is a little bit bigger than the regular halogen T3 bulb. So, please make sure the size can fit your fixtures before purchasing.
