This is a k-type thermocouple wire with yellow Kapton insulation, which is good up to about 400 degree C Celsius or 752 degree F Fahrenheit. This k-type thermocouple wire can be used to make your own K-type thermocouple for a wide range of applications, or to make your own K-type thermocouple extension wire. The chromel alumel wire is made to standard k type thermocouple specifications. It is sold in 5 yard (15 ft) rolls, so if you order 2 units of this, you will receive rolls, each 5 yard (15 ft) long thermocouple wire.
