This is another exciting western by author Clint Clay. The newly elected sheriff is trying to bring law and order to the Queen City, but faces a gang of outlaws that are dead set on keeping things the way they were before Sheriff Clim Taylor was booted out in the election. Taylor leaves town and so do the others who know their time is up. The sheriff must deal with the diehard criminals that remained.

A young man is killed, and in the search, for his killer the question arises about his parent’s suspicious death a few years before. There is corruption in the sheriff’s office, and it goes all the way to the judiciary. One boy’s senseless death leads to the death of six others. This book twist and turns and is deadlier than a rattler. Where friends turn on friends and the quickest draw may not be the survivor.

Just when you think you have figured it out the snake will bite you.
