All natural carnivorous plant soil is made from completely natural sphagnum peat moss and horticultural perlite. It is an excellent supplement for potting and gardening soils and makes for a wonderful Venus fly trap medium. This mixture is a one to one peat moss and perlite ratio, which is a standard mixture for Venus fly traps
