The Kohm WHS-448L 4mm wide jaw toenail clipper is ideal to trim those thicker nails. These hefty clippers are built with a stainless steel body and blades. The zinc alloy reinforced handle produces the greatest leverage of all top-down Kohm nail clipper models. A swing-out style nail file rasp assists to smooth and clean your newly trimmed nails. The WHS-448L's straight jaw blades are designed for those who are susceptible to ingrown nails.

For the thickest and hardest nails, we suggest one of our medical grade, professional chiropody or podiatry style "Toenail Nippers" for deformed nails due to fungus/diabetes such as the Kohm KP-700, CP-900 or WHS-800 which can provide more control.

For safest results:

1. Soak nails in warm water to soften and help prevent splitting

2. Clip small sections of your nail at a time - do not use entire surface of blade to cut nail in one clip

3. Do not cut nails shorter than tips of fingers or toes

4. Wipe blades with alcohol after use
