A. Prepare a bucket with edge thickness less than 0.35 inch and a stick as ramp for mouse to climb up the plank trap.
B. Hook the trap onto the bucket. Place the ramp on the bucket in line with the trap or right next to the trap.
C. Smear enough amount bait on the end of the plank such as peanut butter, hazelnut spread, cream, etc.
D. Fill the bucket up 1/3 ways with water if you wish for the trap to be lethal or empty bucket to catch and release.
