Blades of this quality are rare and hard to find, with most being imported from Asia with an inferior edge designed for scraping. These are made in USA and designed for cutting, although you can scrape with them as well. Made of high quality stainless steel, each blade has an aluminum safety edge, and comes sheathed in its own protecting sleeve.
For Audio Recording People: Stainless steel blades will not magnetize (which can cause pops and distortions in your tape splice) and the cutting edge is extremely sharp and long lasting. The edges of these blades have been scanned under microscopes and it was amazing how superior they are to anything else out there.
