It does not convert voltage, but it works very well under voltage 100-240VAC means it could be used in most countries. There is a fuse that could ensure that the adapter doesn't be overloaded and protect your devices , plus there is another spare fuse for replacement. It is a definitely necessity for  international travel .this hardly takes up any room and with dual USB ports, this gonna makes your life very easy. When plugged in a red light will be emitted from the UROPHYLLA adapter and it works as a nice travel nightlight so you can see where you're going in the dark night in a room you are not familiar with . this travel adapter has dual USB ports for extra charging if you need . Theoretically you could charge up to 3 devices simultaneously . two is USB ports and one charger plugged in on top.
