Vapor Barrier Fasteners are used for securing vapor barrier to the foundation walls and pillars in the crawl space. Vapor Barrier Fasteners are 1 inch long. Drill a hole - usually a 1/4" masonry bit or smaller - into wall and then attach wall liner with fastener. Using Butyl Tape or Vapor Barrier Tape really helps for a sealed and secure vapor barrier. When encapsulating, consider using Capped Vapor Barrier Stakes as well! Head Diameter - 0.7" Length - 0.8". Size of Masonry Bit - 1/4 inch or slightly smaller is okay to use.

- SPECIFICATIONS: Vapor Barrier Fasteners are approximately 1 inch long. Actual dimensions are 22.7mm in length by 7.5mm in width with the diameter of the cap measuring 18mm.
- INSTALLATION: Drill a hole, using a 1/4 inch masonry bit or smaller, into the wall and then attach wall liner with christmas tree fastener.
- SEAM AND SEAL: Using Butyl Tape or Vapor Barrier Tape really helps for a sealed and secure vapor barrier.
- FOR THAT FINISHED LOOK: When encapsulating a crawl space, consider using capped vapor barrier stakes as well.
