This bag is designed to hold long swords, especially 44" bamboo shinai swords used in Kendo style martial arts. It can also hold regular size katana and dao or sansetsukon (three-part-staff).

In addition to the large main pocket this bag features an 18 inch zipper pocket for holding small objects like keys and wallet or practice tanto or nunchucks. It also has a side pocket for carrying a practice short sword or other practice weapons.
