Reading Rods help review short vowel word patterns, construct Cycle words, and build words with long vowels and spelling patterns. Additionally, students can make words using consonant blends and digraphs; vowel digraphs, diphthongs, and r-controlled vowels; and common two- to four-letter rimes. This kit includes 141 cubes. The reading rods are color-coded by phonics: vowels, consonants, silent "e", consonant blends, vowel digraphs, and word family chunks.
