These authentic Roman coins form part of a large hoard recently recovered from a peat bog in southern Germany. They are exceptionally well preserved with a light coat of soot that may be left in place to continue preserving the delicate ancient metal. Each and every coin is handmade, unique and identifiable to a narrow date range and often fully attributable to the emperor under whose reign they were minted. Makes for an absolutely wonderful gift for the historically curious!!
