This product does not come with nibs. This calligraphy oblique nib holder is for those who are intermediate or advanced in calligraphy. This wooden oblique nib calligraphy holder can hold and fit most nibs in the market. The nibs it likely fits are: Brause Steno, Brause Rose, Brause No. 29 FE, Brause 50 Pfannen, Brause 513, Brause 66 EF [Remove flange and place nib], Gillott 170, Gillott 303, Gillott 404, Gillott 1950, Hunt 22, Hunt 56, Hunt 100, Hunt 101, Hunt 103, Hunt 512 EF, Hunt 513 EF [Remove flange and place nib], Nikko G, Zebra G, Tachikawa G,Tachikawa 600 EF, and the Leonardt 111 EF/Hiro 111 EF, Leonardt 700 [Remove flange and place nib], Leonardt Principal EF [Remove flange and place nib], Rubinato Nibs, Oblique Mitchell 742 F [Remove flange and place nib]. If the nibs are difficult to put it or take out, use a fabric or rag to assist, use caution and try not to spring the tines. If the nib cannot fit, you can carefully adjust the brass flange with pliers if you have the expertise, however, we HIGHLY suggest to return it instead as adjusting can compromise the holder's functions. The brass flange is removable. This holder is light weight, has medium thickness, and features a gorgeous ornamental design with gold lining and a nice white horn material. - REMOVABLE FLANGE - Features a REMOVABLE brass flange which allows it to fit many pointed pen nibs by removing the flange, SLIGHTLY opening it, and inserting the desired nib. This allows the flange to fit about 90% of reasonably-sized nibs in the market. Caution: NOTE that this may bend the flange to fit only that nib over time which may impact flange versatility.
- COMFORTABLE & THICK GRIP - This oblique calligraphy nib holder features a medium-large sized thickness that is great for reducing grip pain or fatigue and features a small curved shape in the front of the holder for your index finger to rest on.
- (IMPORTANT) QUALITY CHECKED & EASY RETURNS - Each flange is inspected and adjusted in order to ensure and maximize the amount of nibs the flange can hold. If a nib listed in the product description does not fit you can return it for FREE by marking the reason as "Defective" so we can re-evaluate the flange. Note that all Penmen United holders features a convenient return-friendly plastic pouch.
