Ever since the day a bedraggled fairy walked into his casino and turned him into a troll, Tanner Scott has been in a bad mood. Now, the casino is losing money, the dwarves in the family mine are on strike, and he can't keep a housekeeper to save his life. Q - So, what makes Touch of Beauty special?Â
A - I think what makes the book special is howmuch fun I had writing about magic in New Mexico. At first, writing in someoneelse's magical world was a little strange, but once I got the idea to startwith my fairy godmother, Esme, and to have her magically help the romance getgoing, then everything began to click. The scenes were funny and fun to write.And then of course there's Tanner and Bonita. I love Beauty and the Beast andtwisting fairy tales, so once I knew what fairy tale I wanted to add a littleromance to, then it was easy!
Q - So, why should readers give these books a try?Â
A - If you love romance, magic, and fairy tales,then Touch of Beauty is for you. As for the rest of the Magic in New Mexicoseries, I think that they all have their own unique twists on paranormal andsci-fi romance. I've read several and loved seeing how each author interpretsthe world of S.E. Smith.
Q - What other kinds of books do you write?Â
A -I write a variety of paranormal and fantasy romancewith elves, witches and sexy shifters. If it's a supernatural, I like to writeit. I've even toyed with the idea of writing sci-fi romance. Maybe I'll have totry that the next time I dip into the world of Magic, but for now I'm stickingwith the fantasy side. J
