How to iron on patches:
1.Make sure there are no wrinkles;
2.Align the patch onto the garment;
3.Use the cloth or sheet of paper or as a barrier to protect the patch and garment from scorching;
4.Pre heat your iron to the appropriate setting;
5.Keep the iron moving to prevent over heating;
6.Apply heat for 45 to 60 seconds;
7.Repeat ironing on the reverse side;
8.Allow the patch to cool slightly before handling the garment;
9.If the edges are not bound,re apply heat for a few more seconds.
How to sew on patches:
- BY HAND:use 1/8-inch blanket stitch.
- BY MACHINE:use 15-stitiches per inch,zig-zag setting,and never in a straight line.
Note:
Do not iron patch on delicate cloths,or any materials that will fail under extreme heat such as leather,satin,or nylon.
