Jag and Fancy were perfectly happy as small-time gypsy traders and business partners, moving legitimate cargos (with occasional side smuggling) around the pit of the spiral arm--until they were asked to smuggle a cargo of more than a dozen young slave girls. Fancy, who had escaped that life, would die--or better yet, kill--to free them.
