A-C DraftShields products have been awarded 3 U.S. patents. The original design concept was to eliminate icy drafts falling from central a/c grilles in the fall/winter, and to reduce the consequent energy costs of heat loss. An additional benefit of the covers is the prevention of moisture, and subsequently mold/mildew, from building up in the ductwork. A high density foam surround completely seals the clear plastic shields, which are affixed with a hook and locking lanyard to each grille.
