Elmex toothpaste, for children aged 0-5 years, has been specially developed for the cleaning and protection of milk teeth, whose task is to provide space and proper development of permanent teeth. The paste has a mild flavor, suitable for the youngest children. The paste contains a unique compound: aminofluoride, whose task is to create on the surface of the enamel a special protective layer of calcium fluoride; makes the teeth more resistant to the loss of minerals under the influence of caries acids; and helps in re-embedding into the enamel minerals dissolved by fatty acids.
