Half personal compositions, half covers, the record pays tribute to the big names of soul such as Martha and the Vandellas and Screamin' Jay Hawkins, as well as songs by the Lovin' Spoonful, the Zombies, Squeeze and Bob Dylan. Curry surrounded himself with top musicians such as Earl Slick, Bob Kulick, Michael Kamen, Bob Babbitt and David Sanborn.
