How to maintain your TRIPLE TREE chef's knife:
Use wooden or composite plastic cutting boards only. Don't use glass, ceramic, marble, or steel boards because it will cause wear on the edge of the knife.
Keep the edge of the blade aligned. With regular use, the edge of any chef's knife will lose its sharpness because the cutting edge always has a wavy S-shape.
It is important to frequently re-align the edge of the blade with a honing steel and oil to keep it sharp.
