CUCAMELONS - Mexican Sour Gherkins (aka Mexican Mini Watermelons) (Melothria scabra) Newly rediscovered heirloom. Produces abundant crops of 1-2" fruits reminiscent of tiny watermelons that fall off the vines when ripe. Sweet cucumber flavor contrasted by a surprising sourness, as if they are already pickled. Great for growing on a trellis. 60-70 days. Sow seeds outdoors in 12" diameter hills after the last frost when soil is warm. Space hills 6' apart in all directions. Can also be started indoors 2-4 weeks before the last frost for an earlier harvest. Benefits from consistent moisture. Provide support for vines to save space. Grown and harvested in the USA by PowerGrow Systems. Pack of 75+ seeds.
