AD Surgical UNIFY Polypropylene Prolene Suture. Each box contains 12 individually sterilized foil packs of sutures and one instruction sheet. The suture is sterilized with ethylene oxide (EO) gas and normally will have 1-3 years of shelf life. UNIFY Polypropylene Prolene Suture is a monofilament, non-absorbable, sterile, flexible thread prepared from long-chain polyolefin polymer known as polypropylene and is indicated for use in soft tissue approximation. Polypropylene suture elicits a minimal inflammatory reaction in the tissue. Unlike absorbable, and some non-absorbable sutures, polypropylene is not subject to any degradation or loss of tensile strength. Polypropylene sutures have excellent tensile strength and are used for orthopaedic, plastic and micro surgeries, general closure and cardiovascular surgeries. Our UNIFY Sutures are compatible to the quality of Ethicon Sutures, but at a fraction of their prices. UNIFY Surgical sutures are manufactured in our own contracted manufacturing facilities and have been selling factory-direct in the US market for over 8 years. You can save up to 80% on your suture cost by switching to UNIFY Sutures!
