Product Review
Slice’s double-edged corner stripping blade offers precision, versatility, and safety. Its finger-friendly edge is sharp enough to pierce and cut materials, but is much safer to handle than traditional blades. While other blades start dangerously sharp and dull very quickly, Slice advanced ceramics start at a safe sharpness and stay there up to 11 times longer than metal.  The 10532 blade is tapered to fit in corners and narrow spaces where other hobby knife blades can’t go. Its double edge allows the artist or crafter to cut in either direction or change directions, making it more versatile than typical knife-style blades.  Unlike metal hobby blades, Slice blades are non-conductive, non-magnetic, non-sparking, chemically inert and never rust. They’re safe up to 1600 degrees Celsius and don’t require lubricants or special maintenance.  The 10532’s fine point is ideal for piercing materials and weeding Cricut or vinyl. This blade cuts a variety of materials, including crepe paper, washi tape, stickers and vinyl, flexible plastics, crafting fabric and felt, thin hard plastics, boxboard, and card stock. Not recommended for extremely hard materials such as wood or concrete. Like all craft blades, the 10532 is not designed to bear a side load.  The 10532 corner stripping blade is compatible with the following Slice handles: the 10548 Craft Knife, the 10589 Craft Knife (Safety Cap), the 10580 Precision Knife, and the 10568 Replaceable Blade Scalpel. All handles are ambidextrous and feature no-tool blade change.  Slice blades were developed for the industrial market and are a favorite of safety managers looking to lower injuries. Home users appreciate the added safety of Slice’s finger-friendly edge combined with superior control and industrial durability of our blades and handles. Professional artists, DIYers, model makers, hobbyists and crafters all enjoy the safety and precision of the 10532 corner stripping blade.  Slice donates one percent of global profits to autism research.
