The LulzBot modular print bed system ensures your LulzBot TAZ is going strong for years to come with improved ease-of-maintenance, increased versatility, and better heat uniformity across the bed surface. The system is an easy and SMART upgrade to generations 3 through 6 of LulzBot TAZ 3D printers. The LulzBot TAZ glass/PEI print surface is the upper half of the modular print bed system and features a PEI (Polyetherimide) sheet laminated to a borosilicate glass plate. The glass/PEI print surface is effectively two surfaces in one. Depending on the filament in use, print on PEI or Flip the surface over to print directly on plain glass or experiment with other print substrates.
