The construction is very thick and sturdy, and it is easy to install and fit nicely.

Installation Instruction:

Remove the pins in the hinge, straighten out the tabs that insert into the vent and remove the old lid. Then insert the tabs on the new cover into the RV roof vent and replace the pins into the hinge. You don't have to remove the whole vent structure, only the lid.
