The main advantage of fitting the EGR blocking plate is to stop soot from the exhaust clogging up your inlet manifold.
It redirects it all back out through the exhaust, where it was supposed to go. This also results in cleaner engine oil,
which in turn prolongs the life of the engine and better fuel economy.
It also causes the turbo to spool up quicker.
This block off plate is intended for Off road use ONLY!
Used to block exhaust from being reused as air intake.
Can lower EGT's and a possible gain in HP. Mainly used to keep the soot out of your intake manifold which can lead to other problems.
Very easy to install and remove.
