It has the amino acid sequence Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val.[1] It has been tested in animal trials for cytoprotective and wound healing activities,[1][2] but has not been tested in humans (as of 2017).
