Fabric bundle of 42 5-inch squares from the Fresh Cut Flowers collection by designer Kansas Troubles for Moda Fabrics. In my garden, in the surrounding fields and throughout my home, I live with flowers. Perennials and annuals bloom in beds edged with brick and stone, and sometimes a few wildflowers find their way from the field into my garden. It is this garden that inspired the floral appliques, the simple piecing that echoes the edgings, and the soft borders -- there isn't anything formal about this garden, it's beauty comes from nature's simplicity.
