This product is really easy to set up. You can mount the owl on top of a tall pole; secure it to the ground by filling the hollow bottom with rocks or sand; hang the owl on a hook or attach the owl with wires by the small loop in the head and allow it to swing in the wind. For rooftops and ledges: secure the owl by tying in place or fill with sand or gravel for more stability (use enclosed stopper). Birds or other pests take about 7-10 days before they accept the challenge or try being within the "gaze" range. For best results, moving the owl every few days makes it a more effective pests deterrent.
